We work with various types of wood depending on the client’s needs, with the most commonly used being: Poplar, Beech, Mahogany, and Okoume.

This precious material has been part of human life since ancient times. From building house structures to crafting furniture such as tables, chairs, wardrobes, and more, wood is widely used for its durability and versatility.

Although very popular in architecture, interior design, construction, and furniture-making, wood is also a material surrounded by myths and truths.

Several factors can influence its durability, and one that is often overlooked is color. In general, darker woods are more durable and require less intensive treatment, while lighter woods need extra care. The good news is that, in both cases, there are specific products available to preserve them.

Water and wood do not mix – Strength and durability are key characteristics of wood, but there is one element that is extremely harmful: water. When exposed to high levels of moisture, wood can expand and contract, potentially affecting its integrity.
